Electrajet
Electrajet is a serial data interface system. It is an effective tool use to find faults scanners cannot find.
The system uses labscope measurements and looks at all input and output signals of the engine ECU. Electrajet have over 30 different wiring harnesses that connect to the engine ECU connector and the wiring harness connector.
This is the most accurate way of analysing electrical faults to and from the engine ECU and sensors. Power and earth circuits are also carefully monitored. These live measurements now allow a look at exactly what the ECU is seeing.
So if a signal drops out or a corrupted signal is effecting the ECU it can be found. This is one aspect a hand held scanner cannot detect.
Backprobing and labscope testing is now the only way of tracking down modern automotive technology coupled together with scanners.
